Amelia “Ame” Grace
Amelia Grace (“Ame” to her friends) is the booking agent and manager of Atlanta’s hottest concert venue, Castle Rock. Working at a rock n’ roll venue, Ame’s obviously not your typical girly-girl-she’d rather read Rolling Stone than Cosmopolitan and skipped her senior prom to go see The Exies play a gig the next town over. She’s fun-loving but level-headed, and she’d do anything for her friends-which can sometimes get her into trouble.
Kat Taylor
Kat Taylor, the Promotions Director at Castle Rock, has been Ame’s best friend ever since they were diapers, despite being near opposites. Kat’s the carefree social butterfly, who, until recently, changed men more often than she changed her bra. The only real thing that the former Homecoming Queen and Ame have in common is their love of music (and of certain older rock stars!).
Bronwyn Sinclair
Bronwyn is Castle Rock’s booking and promotions intern, running errands for Ame and Kat when she isn’t busy batting her lashes at the bouncer, Bryce, from behind a copy of Cosmo (because, according to her, she’s way too old to be reading Seventeen now). Don’t let her boy craziness fool you, though-Bron is smart and edgy and uses her father’s position as police sergeant to her advantage. Her intel from eavesdropping on her Pops makes her the perfect sidekick for Ame’s crime-solving escapades.
Bryce Johnon
There’s more to Castle Rock’s door man, Bryce, than just his muscles. While he may get a little hot-headed when it comes to his bartender girlfriend, Laura, he’s usually a big teddy bear. He’s sweet, sensitive, and loyal, but he does let his temper get the best of him sometimes. Hey, nobody’s perfect!
Parker Deering
Parker Deering was Castle Rock’s owner until he took a deadly tumble from the top of the venue’s rear tower. A health nut and habitual runner, Parker was in great shape for his late thirties, so it was unlikely that he just dropped dead (no pun intended) without someone giving him a push. In life, Parker was a funny, charismatic guy who loved fast cars and faster women.
Laura Holly
The line to order a drink from Castle Rock’s hottest bartender, Laura Holly, is always at least twenty deep. Of course, she’s worth the wait, with her long brown hair, flirty lashes and sweet Southern drawl-which is fake, but there’s no need to ruin the charade, now is there? Laura’s good looks and coy manner keep her tip jar full at the cost of making her beefy boyfriend jealous.
